Our founder was on the usual apps, a match, a "hi", a "how are you", and then nothing. No real conversation, no actual connection. In December 2025, on a personal trip to Jaipur, the exact same thing happened. A match, some small talk, and it fizzled out before it even started.
What If You Took the Screen Out of It?
That's when the idea came: what if you took the screen out of it? Travel forces real conversation, shared treks, late-night bonfires, and a few good games do more in a weekend than weeks of texting ever could.
So in January 2026, we ran our first trip under a very literal name: the Matchmaking Trip. No forced pairing, no assigned partners, just people, thrown into real experiences together, left to find their own connections. Several of those first connections are still together today.
That's still the core of what we do. Every trip we run, Singles Trip or otherwise, is built on the same idea: real people, real places, and conversations that don't end at "lol same." No algorithm, no forced pairing. Just a curated trip with its own reason to exist, and enough room for something real to happen.
